HC&RFC Annual General Meeting 2020 will be held on Tuesday 18th August at the Club at 8:30pm (following the Rugby Section AGM at 7pm). All Club Members are invited to attend.

Nominations for election as Office Bearers should be made to Hon. Secretary by 11th August with names and confirmation of Proposer and Seconder from Club.

HCRFC Hon. Secretary Chris Bull writes:

"Our heartfelt thanks go to Gill Robb who is stepping down after 9 years as our main Club Treasurer.

Our club cannot function without it’s volunteers. We have a very forward-thinking committee, a newly refurbished club and plans to expand with a 4G pitch. All of this will support hundreds of kids playing rugby each week, two cricket teams and a rugby team and provide a significant resource to the members and community.

Volunteering is a very rewarding experience. You can use your experience to help our club to grow and develop and be part of creating our future. It’s surprising how you don’t have to give up a lot of time to help.

Our Treasurer is a key elected official, a member of the executive of the club.

Responsibilities
Develop and monitor the long term business plan for the Club
Work with accountants to produce monthly and annual accounts and statutory returns
Work with Bar Convenor to ensure maximisation of bar profitability
Dealing with financial implications and tracking of projects
Keeping up to date with transactions and paying bills from the bank accounts
Managing external contracts, insurance and utility providers
