Prohibited Items and Expected Behaviours

We want to make sure this is a memorable and enjoyable day for all. To achieve this, we do ask that everyone entering the stadium, follows the ground rules and behaves responsibly.

Over the course of the past few years there have been issues and we wish to address these by reminding everyone of the key themes in terms of security, health and safety.

1. Entry into the stadium, whether that be via a purchased ticket or otherwise, shall be
deemed for all purposes to constitute an unqualified acceptance to be bound by and an
undertaking to comply with the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Ground Regulations and
instructions of all designated stewards and officials.

2. As this is a Youth event alcohol will only be allowed to be served and consumed in limited licensed areas. Any person attempting to bring alcohol into the stadium will be refused entry, any person found in possession of alcohol will be ejected from the stadium.

3. Other items not permitted under the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Ground Regulations include:
• No pressurized container air horns
• Flares - it is an offence punishable by law and unacceptable conduct for any person to
enter or attempt to enter the stadium whilst in possession of any article which is a
firework or any article or substance whose purpose or any part of its purpose is the
emission of a flare for purposes of illuminating or signalling or the emission of smoke
and/or gas and any person in possession of such articles will be refused entry to the
stadium and if having entered, to expulsion from the stadium and such other sanction as
may be determined by Scottish Rugby reported to the Police.

Please ensure you communicate through the relevant channels at your Club to any supporters that may be coming there will be bag searches in operation.

4. Any behaviour likely to cause confusion or annoyance to any other person is not permitted in any part of the stadium:

• Spectators are requested not to obstruct gangways, access ways, exits and entrances,
stairways. Climbing on seats, stands or any other structure within the stadium is strictly
prohibited.
• The use of foul and abusive language, obscene chanting, or racial abuse towards other
persons is not permitted under any circumstances, anyone reported to be using such
language shall be ejected from the stadium.
• Spectators are not permitted entry onto the field of play except in an emergency as
directed by the stewards.

The safety and security of everyone attending the Finals is our priority, anyone who does not comply with all these rules, or whose presence within the stadium, is, or could reasonably be construed as constituting a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to any other person will be removed from the ground.

Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and create an outstanding atmosphere to celebrate the Boys School Cup Finals.
